WASHING
Pre-Wash - Before using your quilted cotton bath mat for the first time, it is important to pre-wash it. Soak the mat in cold water with a small amount of mild liquid detergent, then run a cycle at a low temperature, ideally 30 degrees Celsius.
Regular Washing - For subsequent washes, continue to machine wash your bath mat in cold water using a mild liquid detergent. Avoid pouring detergents directly onto the mat to prevent discoloration and fiber damage.
Color Separation - Always separate light and dark colors to maintain the original look of the mat.
Avoid Bleach - Do not use chlorine-based bleaching agents as they can weaken the fibers and damage the quilted texture.
Machine Load: Do not overload the washing machine to ensure a thorough and gentle wash. Ideally, wash the bath mats with other similar items to avoid damage from items like buttons and zippers.
DRYING
Tumble Dry - Dry the bath mat on a low to medium heat setting in the dryer. Do not over-dry as prolonged heat can damage the fibers.
Remove Promptly - Take out the mat as soon as the drying cycle ends to avoid wrinkles and stiffness.
Air Drying - If possible, air drying by laying the mat flat can also help maintain its shape and softness.
